November?
Is it really already November? Last week was Halloween? Say what?!
That's so crazy!! I had a fantastic week full of a lot of fun and also
a surprise so it was fantastic! :)
On Tuesday it was Elder Marsden's birthday! So of course we had to go
out and eat because.. Food is delicious!! haha But it was also the
Ward Trunk-or-Treat! Elder Marsden and I have had our costumes planned
out since the first or second week I was in Florida so we were super
excited to make our plans real life! We decided back in the day we
would both be Clark Kent so we had already purchased our Superman
shirts from Wal-Mart and we just had to make our Elder Kent name
badges! It was so sweet! :) We had such a great time! Everybody loved
us! ;) haha We also helped out with one of the booths! We were doing
the fishing pole thing so Elder Marsden was out front talking to
people and then I was back behind putting on the different "fish" for
the kids! It was awesome! I loved it! :)
We also were over at our investigator that plays for the Bucs house
and we talked to him about the Plan of Salvation, blew his mind then
he was showing us some cool stuff! He took us out back and he had a
crab that he caught in his backyard (He lives just off of a lake) just
chilling in bucket! So he was playing with that. My mom is hopefully
posting the pictures that I send to her on my blog! It's easier this
way! haha
All that stuff was fun but the surprise we had came on Wednesday!
Tuesday night we had talked to Charlotte and told her to pray one last
time whether she should be baptized here or in Ocala, where she was
moving on Saturday. So she prayed and on Wednesday she called us and
asked "What do we need to do to get this baptism done?" We were so
pumped! :) We got the interview set up, Elder Marsden was on the phone
for about an hour calling tons of different people and got it set up
for 10 in the morning for Thursday! We were still pretty stressed
whether or not she was still going to do it so when she showed up to
the church in the morning we were so happy and excited! :) Elder
Marsden baptized her and I did the confirmation! It was so amazing! :)
The mission has been so awesome! We are now in a huge finding stage.
We have basically one progressing investigator and he we sometimes
aren't able to see him because he has training with the Tampa Bay
Lightning Arena Football team. He isn't able to sign with the Bucs
until next season because of some stuff so he just trains with the
Lightning! It's super cool and he is so jacked! But a super cool guy!
I am loving life! I hope you all enjoy the Hallmark movies back home!
I know I will be missing them this year! ;) I love you all and thank
you for your support!!
