Dueces are wild!
I have now been out for 2 months! haha but I also have 22 more to go!
Hence the Dueces are wild! :) haha
It's been a good week here in Palm Harbor! We have had pretty good
weather! Yesterday we actually got a sneak peak into the winters of
Florida and oh how lovely it was!! We were able to spend the Sunday
Morning and Afternoon sessions at a member's home with Jeffrey, our
new convert! We watched the morning session and we had lunch! Hawaiian
Haystacks! haha Yayyy for rice! I guess.. haha I have actually kind of
started to not mind rice as much! We have had to eat rice on a few
different occasions and I'm getting better! Thank goodness! :) But
after lunch we all were sitting outside, enjoying the heavenly weather
as I was laying on a hammock! :) The missionary life is doing me
pretty good! ;)
What better way could we have all spent our weekend than listening to
the words of modern day prophets?! Being a member of the church is the
BOMB! I would definitely recommend re-watching or rereading all of the
conference talks! Because they are that awesome! We were able to
receive revelation that we as members of the church needed to get us
through the next 6 months! Alright enough about conference! I could go
on and on about that! :) haha
Our investigators are doing alright! We have Shean that is currently
working on giving up chewing tobacco and coffee! (We always seem to
find the one's that have problems with the WofW) But he came to
conference for a session and seemed to really enjoy it! Charlotte was
able to watch a little bit as well and she seemed to enjoy it as well!
There really isn't a whole lot more than that going on this week. We
are really trying to find new investigators! Palm Harbor has nobody
that walks the streets so we have to find by other ways! Continue to
pray for missionary work everywhere! If you have friends, don't hide
them! Give them to the missionaries and let them go to work! :) I love
you all and appreciate your support!! Have a good week!
